Etching in the Rain

Well we never stop learning here at New Leaf, so we decided that now is as good a time as any to do some spit bite tests. With the help of artist Val Nelson and our faithful volunteer Jose, from Capilano University, we were applying some time based acid tests when suddenly it began to rain!
Luckily we are stocked with umbrellas that people have a tendency to leave behind, (a note to any friends of New Leaf: if you are missing an umbrella, its probably here.)
So we rigged up this method of saving our test, it basically involved abusing our volunteer by getting him to hold two umbrellas while getting soaked for half an hour. (Thanks Jose, I think we owe you for that one)
